Nicki, our Toddler Class Coordinator says, "I decided to join ICP because I wanted to be a part of my children's preschool experience. I really enjoy seeing them learn, grow and gain basic social skills for interacting in a classroom. I was very thankful to have firsthand knowledge of how my older child who has a summer birthday was doing in Pre-K and whether or not he was ready to start kindergarten. Being able to observe him in the classroom every week really helped our decision to have a transitional kindergarten year to improve his confidence and really be ready to move on to elementary school. I knew going to a coop would provide more of a community for my children and our family, but I was surprised by how close and important a community it is for us. Frequent conversations with the teachers about the kids, playground parent chat, weekly summer playdates, and monthly parent education have all helped me become a better parent to my children. We LOVE ICP!"
