Toddler Class

A wonderful play group and introduction to preschool for your toddler! We begin with outside free-play, then circle time, song and attendance in class, followed by a variety of activities, and a snack is served. The day ends with music and dance. Parents work in classroom each school day (1 day per week).
Age: 1-2 years (1 year old by August 31 of enrollment year)

Class begins with circle time, song and attendance, followed by outside time. When the class returns, children choose from a variety of activities, and a snack is served. Parents are assigned to specific areas for teaching. The day ends with music and dance. Parents work in classroom 1 day per week.
Age: 2-3 years (2 years old by August 31 of enrollment year)

Mixed-Age Class
Teacher: Caroline Chastain
The Mixed-Age class is offered to 3-5 year olds. The philosophy behind the class is to give parents and children even more flexibility with their scheduling. This class will be in the afternoon, in contrast to the Pre-3 and 3-4 classes that are in the mornings. It’s also an opportunity for children of different ages to work together to teach and learn from each other. It may also be of interest to parents that want a slightly older class for their 3 year olds, parents who desire an additional year of school for their 5 year old before entering Kindergarten, or families with siblings. Teacher Caroline has a clear strategy of how to tailor the class to fulfill educational goals for their different ages.
